I feel very fortunate to have had Luke McDonald as my Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) when he was working in the Houston area in 2023.
From the start, he seemed quite competent while still striving to continuously improve his CPT toolkit -- and working to apply those tools effectively and empathetically to my peculiar situation.
Specifically, I was a 74 year old man with notable limitations on my left side from shoulder to ankle (from a major accident decades ago which included loss and re-attachment of my arm).
Yet Luke was able to get me to the point where I successfully completed a week of 50+ miles of backpacking with a 30+ pound pack and my then 17 year-old youngest son and other Scouts in the 6,500 to 10,000+ foot elevation wilderness of the Philmont High Adventure Scout Camp.
Thanks, Luke!

I’ve had lower back troubles for over a decade and tried to go to the chiropractor, stretch, yoga, strength training, etc and nothing has helped my sciatica/back issues as much as the program Luke puts together. It’s sustainable and long lasting. It isn’t the quick result route but it will help you establish true recovery and healing in any back issue that chronically impacts your day to day. He’s helpful and responsive and can tailor a plan that’ll give you that peace of mind I was missing while experiencing back pain. Highly recommend.

Luke McDonald was my trainer for nine months until he moved out of my area. He worked with my physical limitations and designed a program for me to strengthen and make me more mobile. I am 61 and not a fan of exercise but Luke made it fun and challenged me to keep improving.
He is very knowledgeable and cares about helping his clients!
I learned so much from him that after he left, I am keeping up the exercise on my own. He is a man of faith and integrity and anyone would be lucky to have him as a trainer!
